Hi everyone just thought I would write a few fun facts about me and share some of my goals for 2019. We have so many new athletes that we don’t always get to talk to due to class schedules. So a little bit about me. I’m 48 years old, so don’t listen to Quinn when she tries to tell you that I’m 50 something! Not that there’s anything wrong with being 50 something it’s just not my time. I’m married to Tina Wilson (the crazy deaf lady in the gym). We have been married for going on 24 years. We have 3 children and an English bulldog named Deezel. I’ve been doing CrossFit at CrossFit Bear for about 5 years. I’ve been coaching for about 2 years. I like to run, ride bikes and basically do stuff outside.wayne
Some of my goals for 2019 are to get the right amount of sleep. Continue to eat healthy. Spend more time with my family. And try to save more money. After all I’m getting close to retirement lol. I have been using my Apple watch to track my sleep and it’s been very informative. I’m not saying to go out and get an Apple watch but making sure you get 7-8 hours of sleep a night will make you feel recharged. That with eating healthy helps me to accomplish the other goals. Spending more time with my family. We started this year off with a concert. We went to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra which was awesome!  If you get the chance to see them I recommend it. We also planned a trip to Longwood gardens to see the Christmas lights. When I say spending time that doesn’t mean that we have to go to a big event. I also took some time off of work to just hang out and play card games. We played slap jack, war and Uno. My last goal is saving money. We are looking at what bills we can cut that are not necessary. Our first one was our TV bill we cut down on our subscription and are watching more movies on our Firestick. So if you ever see me standing around the gym and want to talk just say HI! I love to talk about anything.
