Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?
I began a college athlete with strength and conditioning minor and I thought I was in great shape… that’s where I was wrong. I was humbled the first week of trying CrossFit. It engaged my core more than any other workout method I used in the past. I am faster, stronger, and healthier than I have ever been in my life.
Why did you become a trainer?
I love expanding my knowledge and sharing that information with people. I want to develop an environment for everyone in my community to become the best athlete they can be.

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?
I grew up loving everything fitness and sports. From playing volleyball & lacrosse in high school, to D2 collegiate volleyball, to trying all types of fitness regimens (bootcamp, yoga, pilates, kickboxing, spinning, and weight lifting). I found CrossFit in 2015 when Coach Ashlee invited me to friend day. From there my love and passion for CrossFit was born! It combined all the things I love about sports and fitness- competition, excellence, fun, health, wellness, friendship, and mental focus.
Why did you become a trainer?
I became a physical therapist because it involves helping people, learning about the body, and involves teaching/empowering your client/patient to help his self or her self move better. I love nerding out on movement science.
What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?
The snatch – it’s an art comprised of the perfect balance of mobility, stability, and timing (a movement I am still striving to improve)
What is your favorite cheat food?
Wings, cheese fries, and beer!
What’s your favorite Superhero and why?
Wonder Woman. She kicks ass!

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?
For me, fitness was a way a life! It was a way for me to get away from the negativity and turn my life into something meaningful. All stemming from high school football, then on the collegiate level and now CrossFit. In football there is a sense of brotherhood/community and that is one of the main reasons for trying CrossFit.
Why did you become a trainer?
Becoming a trainer is a dream come true. I always wanted to help people to some degree. Becoming a trainer to train individuals attain their goals mentality and physically is awesome and it is something I simply love doing.

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?
I read the book, “Lone Survivor” while in Afghanistan and learned about Memorial Day Murph. Memorial Day 2013 (20130526), my unit lost a soldier and MDM took on a more special meaning to me. One of my best friends and I completed this workout in our full kit. Since then, MDM is the one workout I will always complete. “Lone Survivor” made me want to ensure I always ready to protect my fellow service members and LEOs. I want to ensure I am always fit enough to get my friends home to their families.
Why did you become a trainer?
I have always enjoyed teaching. I want to be someone who can help others reach their greatest potential. I love watching people reach heights they only imagined they could. I want people to believe in themselves and do whatever I can to help them reach that goal. My mother always told me, if you have the means to help others, you should do so. I believe I can help others maintain healthy life choices, so I try to strive to do so.
What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?
Clean and Jerk
What is your favorite cheat food?
Cheese steaks, bourbon, cookie dough ice cream
What’s your favorite Superhero and why?
My favorite superheroes are Superman and the Hulk. As a calm person, I resemble Dr. Banner, who believes he can help the world. When I am calm, I identify more with him because when I am calm, I am very rational and believe I be a role model. When I am angry, I do become a different person. In my line of work, I walk the fine line between Dr. Banner and The Hulk and understand the constant internal struggle and the fear of letting and succumbing to your raw emotions. Superman always fought the same internal battle. He believed he should be a beacon for humanity but fought against showing his true power and strength because of his fear of scaring the people he wished to protect.

What year did you start CrossFitting?
I started CrossFit in 2012
Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?
I got into fitness because I wanted to keep myself healthy. I had been playing sports for most of my life (not well but well enough to play) and knew I needed something once I got out of college. Also, my mom’s side of the family has food addiction problems. 2) continued: I got into CrossFit by “mistake”. I tried out a fitness class and I was hooked. It was free when I started
Why did you become a trainer?
I became a trainer because I liked helping people learn how to do the movements. Also, the owner said he’d pay me if I got my cert, so I figured why not.
What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?
I’m a weirdo and love wall balls and thrusters. What is your favorite cheat food?
What is your favorite cheat food?
My favorite cheat food is hard because there are so many. But I LOVE dessert, so I’ll say cheesecake.
What’s your favorite Superhero and why?
I’ve never really sat down and thought about my favorite superhero. They each have their purpose and different talents/powers. But to choose 1, I’ll go with Wonder Woman. Because of how hard she worked to get to where she was. She’s also very educated and smart on top of being strong and quick.
